Rick Kulkarni, MD, FACEP

Dr. Rick Kulkarni, MD, FACEP, serves as the Editor-in-Chief of “medtigo Journal.” With over 20 years of experience in the medical education field, Dr. Kulkarni is a seasoned Emergency Medicine physician and a respected leader. He founded and continues to lead medtigo, drawing on his extensive background in medical education. He completed his graduate medical training at the prestigious Harvard Affiliated Residency in Emergency Medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham & Women’s Hospital. A former teacher attending Harvard Medical School, Dr. Kulkarni played a pivotal role in launching the initial online presence of Continuing Medical Education (CME) at the medical school. His contributions extend to academia, where he served as the Director of the Adult Emergency Department at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Dr. Kulkarni’s extensive networks in medical academia span premier institutions, including Harvard Medical School, the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, and Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Kulkarni has six international publications with 410 citations in his name.
